PHP version of MOD function

Hi,

I've been looking through the manual for something similar to the MOD function in php, with no luck. Can anyone help me? I need to know what the remainder of number is after a division sum.

PHP follows the C convention of having an operator for it:

5 % 2 = 1

use the '%' operator

eg

$a = 5;
$b = 3;

echo ($a % $b) gives 2
