Readfile output

Hi -
Anyone know off the top of their head how you can output the contents of readfile into a new browser window ?
At the moment I can only get it to output in my current window - which I don't want !

Any suggestions ?

That's done by specifying the target ("_blank", I think) in the link that calls the script.

Yes, and you can name the new window anything you like:

target="Groovy_readfile_output"

This will create a new window with the title Groovy_readfile_output in the title bar. I find this helps visitors and the author know what they're looking at, especially if you're switching between gazillions of browser windows.

Yep; the only drawback being that you can only have one Groovy_readfile_output at a time. Of course that's only a drawback if it's a problem 😉
