download files

hi all,

im new here so here i am hello everyone 😉

well to my problem, i have to make a php scripts that can download files for me, i have to be able to put a link to f.eks. a graphic file that is on a other and then my php scripts copys the file to my server in a specif folder.
I have tried with fopen fputs without any luck, i have also tried with the copy() function and that didnt work out either.

If this is a very hard thing to do in php i will ofcause pay one to do it for me!

Need more info. What errors are you getting exactly. What OS are you using? What web server are you using? What version of PHP.

Check out this page on PHP.net: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.curl.php. If you have libCurl this will be your best bet. If not, look at the fsockopen() function.

right now im not getting like any errors its just dont work

Did you check out those two links I posted? Exactly what code are you using? In order to help you, we need specifics.
