i could post the code...but it's messy and there is alot of it...maybe i'll just try explaining what i'm doing...i'm trying hard to learn php...so sometimes just know what i should be doing gets me going down the correct path (everything i've wanted to do so far i have completed)...
i have to tables...that i'm relating to one another...i want the output to be like this...example...as you can see...i have one loop of information (nid) and then i have a secondary set of loops (rnewsid) that correspond to the first loop...
News 1 (nid=1)
++++++
Response 1 (rnewsid=1 & rid=1)
Response 2 (rnewsid=1 & rid=2)
News 2 (nid=2)
++++++
Response 3 (rnewsid=2 & rid=3)
Response 4 (rnewsid=2 & rid=4)
i'm just not sure how i should be doing this...while i get my data to output...it's just not coming out right...
BUT...my question is...how do i do this?
currently, i am using an include for the "rnewsid" loop inside of the "nid" loop...but i just don't think this is correct...my results are clearly not relating properly to each other...
thoughts on this would be much appreciated...maybe i'll post the code if i get to a point where it seems like i'm on the correct path...or maybe somebody knows of a good tutorial on this or perhaps some sample code that is doing pretty much the same thing?
thanks...jv
