Done. I also removed the RFC guidelines. In adding the requested crossposting info, I discovered the 10,000 character limit on posts

General Bulletin Board Guidelines II: The Newbies are Back!
But maybe one of the moderators could split the post into two consecutive ones?
nice job on the guidellines. I will take note on a few of these. I am sorry if i have broken a few of these rules in the past. I will try not to from now on.
... this still doesnt change the fact.. i am still a noob. just a bit better educated.

I'm not sure an apology is necessary. Haven't checked your posts, but haven't noticed any comments. Been flamed here? Hope not...it's not like this board, generally....

Probably worth it for all of us to remember we're not God...as for education, that's the point around here, I think....
tacos anyone?

You may be pleased to learn that ESR's pages have found a new home (Praise Bob!) at http://www.catb.org/~esr/
The Jargon File (v.4.4.1) has had a makeover - I'm off to download it now.
... but about 2 lines in I noticed it was rather humorous. I generally don't retain diddly, so it is very beneficial to be able to refer back. Also, I am slightly less intimidated by the whole forum idea now.
Play on!
Aah, BuzzLY strikes again....
...besides a good handle on PHP and LotusNotes, he's good with the English language and has a good sense of humor.
No, I don't expect to be paid, Buzz
Very enjoable reading indeed! =)
Okey, I'll try to edit my posts from now on....wasn't trying to make life hard for people by writing replyes instead, but now, I know better!
Thanks!

bling bling
rolls on floor that rules list cracked me up..sticks a cheezit in his mouth seems like a friendly place! Just hope I'm welcomed here lol
Don't see why you wouldn't be, particularly if you read up a bit before bringing "all your problems" here (well, the coding ones, anyway).
A lot of people head over to the "echo lounge" and start a thread, like, "Hi, everybody!", and introduce themselves. It's not a bad way to get a feel for the community, and make yourself known.
If you don't wanna do that, (I suppose we can understand), just realize that we're all people too, we have good days/bad days, we get tired of giving the same answers over and over when people have perfectly good search facilities both on this site and over the entire web, and we can't usually afford time to give away entire scripts for free or debug your entire web application. You'll probably get along fine....
Oh don't worry about me asking for free scripts. I don't like using other people's scripts. I rather code it myself so if theres a bug I don't have to wait a week for them to make a patch for it and etc. Besides I'll need to know how to code PHP myself just incase someday someone hires me to make a script. =]
as Albert Einstein once said..................
"Do not worry about your problems with mathematics, I assure you mine are far greater."
Any relation BuzzLY ????
OH HOLY GREAT ONE
