help with code !!!!

Hello Again....

I'm trying to have an anchor to another php file and a variable passed to it, this is the actual code

<p align="center"><font color="#003399" size="1" face="Cooper Black"> <a href="<? especi.php?$especi='1'; ?> " target="contenido">Contadores Públicos</a></font></td>

here I pretend to pass the $especi variable with a preset value of "1" , so especi.php can show in a table all the rows that match that value. (I will have several of this anchors with preset values)

fist of all I'm getting this message..

You don't have permission to access /< on this server

secondly

I need to know if the way i'm passing the variable is ok, and if in the especi.php all I need is to use hte $_post function to get the value of the $especi variable...

Looks to me like your php engine is not even running.

but it does, in fact I have just try one of the others option I had already working....

I'm just wondering what you were attempting with this:

<? especi.php?$especi='1'; ?>

I think you meant

especi.php?especi=1

And make a GET querystring out of it.
