Shipment Nightmare

Hi all:

I've programmed a shopping cart (mySQl/PHP), and everything works fine. 🆒

New problem I'm facing is more of a nightmare to me 😕
It has to do with shipping the items.

So far we had a few pre-set packages with one courrier, so it was pretty easy to determine how much to charge for shipment.

Now my boss has deals with various companies as follow;

There are noe 4 courrier services, determining which gets the order is pretty simple so no worry there.

There are about 20 weight classes ; ie 0-1, 1-2, 2-3,....kg.

Each class has a different price.

So an exmple is:

Weight | Price
0-1 | $10
1-2 | $12
2-3 | $15

and so on.

I'm totally stumped as where to start, any suggestions and tips all greatly appreciated!

I forgot to mention that I think I need to create 3 tables, as it seems to be a many-to-many relationship here.
So something like:

Company, WeightClass, Company_Proce

on the right track here but need column called ShipWhere so table looks like

Company_ID, Company, WeightClass, Company_Price,ShipWhere

that way when you know where the packages goes, you can find find the appropriate shipper and select the price for the item

Also need table for destination to see who ships:

ShipWhere, ShopperLocation(ZipCode)

assuming you use ZIP to pick the shipper...then just query
