Hi all,
OK - so with some reading & searching - we can now open WORD - perhaps type some text - and then save the file . . . all good stuff to "bridge" the gap from browser to desktop software - so how about taking the next few steps . . .
A quick browse around the MSDN site - shows a whole stack of extra stuff that can be done with WORD and some of the M$ programs - such as moving the cursor up and down - making text bold - creating indents and bullets etc . . .
SO:- Here's my question . . .
What syntax would we use to do the following in WORD ?
- Move up one line (using arrow keys)
- Move down one line (using arrow keys)
- Find text string - such as find the string Hello World
- Select or highlight a line or word to then make it bold
- Do other formatting such a select font or select font size ?
If anyone has any ideas or can point to a useful page or site that lists all of the above (and more besides) - I am sure that it would be useful to many, many people - as well as make my day 🙂
best wishes, Otto
