Update Form

I need some help developing an edit form. I am using a mysql database.

Here are the field names for the mysql db:

id
name
address
city
state
zip
phone
fax
url
email
type

---

I have the edit link to the left of a table, the edit link coresponds to the id#.

On the edit-page, first get data from db..

$query = "select * from xx_tbl where id=$id";
$res = mysql_query ($query);
if ($res)
$row = mysql_fetch_assoc ($res);

remember to check if value is an array...

when creating form:

<form ...
<input name="name" value="<? echo $row['name']; ?>">
...and so on...
