Semi-Transparancy

Dear Readers,

I'm working with the GD-PHP-Libary for half a year now. What I would like to do is to put a semi transparant text or image over a old one..

Like This:

Is there an easy sollution?

Hi,

Did you try the imagealphablending function ?
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.imagealphablending.php

This way you will simply have to copy your logo to the image. Don't forget that the transparency is set for the destination, not the source... I don't know why but just deal with it 😃

I didn't know these CSS properties and I can't believe IE and Mozilla can't work together on some standards.

Moreover // is not a CSS comment, / / is CSS1 compliant.

I think he wants a way to protect some images, using CSS doesn't modify the image.

stupid W3! I used to do the same mistakes and I really wondered: "what the hell is wrong with my CSS styles?".
C++ comments are not supported. It sucks yes yes yes.

for PHP? I didn't know there was a port for PHP. I only know of GD.
