Displaying larger images of thumbnails from mySql

I have the mySql database with the following structure

    ItemId int auto_increment;
Item_Title text,
    Section Text, //only 3 sections
ImgThumb Blob,	
ImgLarge Blob.

There 3 links to the 3 sections. Whenever  a section is clicked, 3 images of the corresponding section should be displayed as thumbnails. When a thumbnail is clicked, the larger version of the thumbnail image should be retrieved from the database and  displayed in the ImageBox( Imagebox is created by using <img > tag). Imagebox contains larger version image of the recently clicked  thumbnail image. How can i get the above? It should be compatible with both IE 5 and NS 6.

well im assuming you can do the querying if not here

SELECT * FROM tbl_name WHERE feild='$feild'");

thats just simple.. just change that to what it needs to be..

then from there your wanting thumbs

i do this really easy.. im so lazy..

we do the while loop

echo"<a href=/have a pop script here/?id=$id><img src=path/to/images width=90 height=90></a>

Like i said i do it the easy way.. I assume you have some basic Javascript knowledge for the POP UP Window
