Query

I have this query which prints 10 articles,
It is built from 3 tables:

articles (articles data),
pages (Whice page/channel the article belongs to),
media (image for the article)

Sometimes the meidafileid in media has the value 0,
and that causes problems when printing because there are no mid in media with 0.

How can I do the query to print the article even if mediafileid = 0

here is my query sofar, hope anyone can help,

SELECT a., p., m.* FROM articles a, pages p, media m WHERE a.pageid = p.pid AND a.mediafileid = m.mid AND a.pageid = 1 AND a.published = 1 ORDER BY pubdate DESC LIMIT 10

You need to put in an OR clause in your sql.

I think this will do it.

SELECT a., p., m.* FROM articles a, pages p, media m WHERE a.pageid = p.pid AND ((a.mediafileid = m.mid) OR (a.mediafield ='0')) AND a.pageid = 1 AND a.published = 1 ORDER BY pubdate DESC LIMIT 10

you have simply changed it from a.mediafield HAVING to be equal to m.mid to being a.mediafield being either equal to m.mid OR 0;
