mysqldump question

How would I go about taking a sql from one server to another using mysqldump? The server are with the same company just a different account.

Try with this, althoug I haven't worked with mySQL, I've seen it's so similar in PostgreSQL.

to dump the database:
mysqldump -u USERNAME DATABASENAME > DUMPFILE

and to restore in a different account:
mysqlimport -u USERNAME DATABASENAME DUMPFILE

where you must substitute the USERNAME, DATABASENAME and DUMPFILE with your owns.

Alright I am still having a little trouble.

Now I am not to sure ifs on the same server itself.. and it gives me this error

Error: access denied when using table: forum

mysqldump -h host.com -u dbuser -p --opt --all-databases > alldb.sql

You can leave out -h host.com if it is localhost; --opt adds some commonly used flags. You can replace --all-databases with a specific db name if you wish. -p makes it prompt you for a password.

One more question. Every time I try to use mysqlimport I get a access denied error.. I dont know why.. but I want to import and entire database not just a table..
