PHP3 and PHP4

My ISP runs both PHP3 and PHP4. Can anyone tell me how to force my scripts to use PHP4 rather than PHP3?

Well im not sure on forcing them.. But no offence you may have a good host.. They should get rid of PHP3 and use PHP4..

Then there wont be a need to force PHP4 code..

And infact i think to my knowledge you cant actually say.. Use php4. It could come down to the php.ini issue.. But tell them they should get rid of PHP3

You probably need to find out from your ISP to see what extensions are associated with each version of PHP! It's a matter of specifying which handler is used for each extension (within the php config file).

Thats correct shu just email your Host, and find out which is associated with what.. Most likely you have .php3 ending.. But im not entirely sure..
