Printing customer address onto my stationery

Hi,

I have a MySQL Db and I want to print my customers addresses out onto my pre-printed stationery so that I can send letters to all of them. I can't do it via email as not all my customers have email.

I know I can copy the MySQL Db to an Access Db and then use that but it's messy and I'm hoping to avoid that route.

I have sat and thought, searched the forums but I'm at a dead-end on how to achieve this.

Does anyone have any idea how I might go about this ?

It's probably simple but I can't figure it out.

well you could make a word doc on your site.. Which just has bits where PHP puts like there name address etc in.. Kinda like a mail merge with Access and Word..

Then loop it.. Print the pages one at a time.. Other than that i think your Access way will be needed

Sorry if I'm being thick, but how do I print to paper, all the PHP "print" codes (printf, echo etc) seem only to output to a browser.

Now i havent looked at those functions.. but theres one there i remember just seeing that is create new doc.. So you may not need Word after all..

maybe have like a $message""; that holds everthing the way you want it.. then use the printer_new_doc(); i think thats it.. With $message in it.. It may or may not work..

But keep me up to date on this.. Seems interesting..

Remember to make it a loop.. so a while loop
