Date problem

How can I have php find a date that is 145 days ago from today's date?

Here is my code, adjusted to fit yours

$sql = "SELECT * FROM $dates WHERE Date >= Date_Sub(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 145 DAY) ORDER BY Date";

This will pull all records from today's date and back 145 days

I need to have php give me an exact date, such as 2002-06-15.
Any other suggestions?

well from wat horndog did just use a DATE_FORMAT in the select.. That will get your date...

$mn = "12";
$dy = "1";
$offset = 145;

$newday = strftime("%Y-%m-%d", mktime(0,0,0,$mn,$dy-$offset,$yr));

would give you the date 145 days ago.
