Tables on the fly

Hey people,

Im implementing a database with a large turnover and huge datasets. I was wondering the implications of creating a new user table for each user, as that in turn will need to hold up to 500 records. But the thing is I will be having more than 100 user tables. Is this a problem?

What are the implications of having a large number of tables?
