Displaying Enviroment Variables.

Hello

how can i display/get the operating system type, the mysql version, the path to sendmail, the path to perl, etc etc
i only want these values, not a hole page full.

I think the operating system of the server is $_SERVER['SERVER_SOFTWARE'], have a look at the predefined variables section of the PHP manual, available from php.net.
