Vbulletin board doesn't allow a ? in urls to be inside a IMG tag

I wrote a script to which i need parameters to be passed in the url after the ?. When i try to place the url inside IMG tags on a certain forum it ends up becoming a link to the picture instead of showing up on the post as a picture. For some reason the only thing that seems to be the problem is the ?.

rewrite script, use POST 'stead of GET <?>

talk to site admin about your problem....<?>

FWIW, this site's on Vbulletin, isn't it? Does it work here?
