I never saw anything in the registration agreeement against searching PHP programmers to do some work. And it is a service that you give to your forum members to interact with other people. If you can get a job to one of your forum members then you are doing a good to your members. By denying them a good you become selfish and self-centered. Open up to the community and re-think your rules. Many members will be grateful if you get them a great opportunity.
I was contacted to my AIM screen name around 5am by a age 23 guy with huge knowledge of PHP. He graduated College. I interviewed him and that is the guy we needed. He said he saw my post in this forum. PhPbuilder he said. We got to talk and he was very interested. Though it was a volunteer work, we reached an agreement. I was going to host and create a site for him with shopping cart. I was going to make a legit company for him. All the PHP scripts he would do for us would have his company name at the bottom as a link to the site we were going to host. Like powered by HIM There any who wanted his PHP scripts could buy from him. I was about to find information how to set up an international Paypal account so that paypal could deposit to his bank.
Pityfully, when I was loading the page of Paypal that offers instructions how to set up an account my computer crashed. I dont know his screen name. Couldnt add it to my AIM. I hope I can find him. But the moral of the story is that you helped this member of your forum age 23 to get a great opportunity thru letting me post our need of a PHP programmer. I was going to help him set up his own online company. And his work with us as staff member is his online portfolio showing live samples of his work at his yet-to-be-made site. Hope you reconsider and modify your rules so you can be supportive to your members in a symbiotic way. I am age 30.
Thanks.
