SQL error

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

What on earth does that mean, and how might i fix it?

Is the mysql demon is running on your system?
if not, then:

mysqld [OPTIONS]

or simple:

mysqld

csáo
almi
