I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good education type applications that have been written in PHP.

Anything to do with eduction whether it be a subject manager (for university / high school) or an online learning tool.

Well, you can try : [URL=http://]www.moodle.com[/URL]. Moodle is a software package for producing internet-based courses and web sites (including moodle.com).

Well, php is the king of the poll, the forum, and the online quiz. Not exactly high-grade 'applications' perhaps (although if you've read the code for these forums, it's certainly big time) .... but, one advantage is, you can fairly easily write your own.
