Desperate Newbie Needs Help

Hello everyone!
I have been trying to code some sort of script that will let me save some top ten charts with no luck. Basically i wanted it to be designed so that:

1. i can type in the Artist and song name in for 10 songs through a web interface.

2. It will save the data in a text file on the server.

3. It will save the artist on one line and then the song on the line below it in the text document. Like below

artist1
song1
artist2
song2
and etc....

Can someone please write this one up? it would take you 5 mins i know, but it would save me days of pain! I know how to extract the information out of the text file line by line, all i need to know how to do is to save it to the text document. THANK YOU!
