OK - This may seem a little "out there" but have a go at this...

Windows 2000 server - date set in windows to Dec 4th (today)
Checked DOS date - also Wed 12/04/2002

So... the following code :

echo date("H:i:s D m M Y", time());
?>

Should give time Wed 04 Dec 2002 yes ?

How wrong.....

Gives...
09:47:50 Wed 12 Dec 2002 !!!

Any ideas?

Not "H:i:s D m M Y", but rather "H:i:s D d M Y"

OK - I had my head on backwards.....

?>

Should have been it...
"m" = Month number
"j" = day number...

Im sure this seemed a valid error, and need of posting here at the time. But really. You gotta remember there is a manual.. And it explains Date very very well.. I reckon a non-programmer would b able to do it...

One who got troubles because of a typo shouldn't be blamed. Typos are the nastiest and hardest to find errors, I believe.

Yes thats very true.. Mainly i look for missing ; or { }.. then im buffled look for an error..

In his case its harder.. There wasnt an error.
