PHP on Windows XP

I downloaded the latest version of PHP and the auto install thing and installed it, but when I write even simple scripts, the webpages come up blank like PHP doesn't work. I have MySQL and have no problem making databases and stuff but I don't understand why my PHP scripts wont work in my webpages. Please help :-)

Use the zip from php.net. In that you will find detailed instructions for configuring most popular web servers to parse php files.

Also (and this might sound a bit stupid), but have you got a webserver running? If not, then go to the Apache website and download the latest version.

Alternatively, you if you have an NT based system (NT/2000/XP) then you could install IIS off the Windows CD and use that instead.
