Dealing with Forms

Hi Everybody, this is my first message in the forum.

I would like to know which is the easiest way to handle form's data?

The same page that generates the html should handle the get/post from the page?

Or something like mypage.php and mypage_data.php?

the easiest way, would be to make multiple pages, but that would defeat the purpose of php - i say practice with multiple pages, and try to get one page to interpret everything once you get a handle on how the variables work.

btw, dont use the php generated variables, use $GET, or $POST

I know how variables work (I think) but I'm not sure if a single page would manage with all the posibilities a single page may offer like edit/add/remove.

Are $GET and $POST references to $HTTP_GET_VARS and $HTTP_POST_VARS ?

yes, and if you want to use $HTTP_POST_VARS (or get) you have to pass it to the function, where as if you use $_POST; you dont

Rewrite your function so's you can go "func($this, $that, $HTTP_POST_VARS)"

But use $POST if you can. That's the original. $HTTP_POST_VARS just references that (to be picky, $HTTP_POST_VARS references $GLOBALS['HTTP_POST_VARS'], and $GLOBALS['HTTP_POST_VARS'] references $POST).
