Domain Name problem

Hi, I've for the most part (finally!) finished the PHP site I was developing. I have a domain name for it, which was originally pointed at the hypermart.net nameservers while it was still in development.

I recently changed the nameservers (2 days ago), and on the nsi.com website it confirms that the change has been made.

The problem is that when I goto my domain, it still directs me to my hypermart page. How is this even possible? and more importantly does anyone know what could be wrong?

Somewhere your sites old location is cached. Probably in your browser, you should clear the cache. But DNS propigation takes some time and depending on what Nameserver you are using from home it could take a few days to be updated.

Since you don't state your domain name, it's difficult to do much 'helping'..... 😉

Also, egohain, I'm not familiar with browsers that cache DNS data, are you speaking authoritatively on that? Browsers generally just cache the data received from a 'Net server. Perhaps you're thinking of 'caching nameservers,' which are quite common on the 'Net....
