AHH!! Help. I do not remember how I did this before. I had a database with lets make it easy 1 field "num" how would I add up all the values in num? I know you could pull one out and add it but that is a lot of work! Is there an easier way of doing it? Select statement but I don't remember it. If you could help me out that would be great. I am young and dumb. I promise if you tell me I will write it down! HONESTLY! Thanks everyone! People on here are friendly! 😃

Nah, that's fibbing too, the name Chad does ring a bell... way back in the dusty parts of my brain...

I've been off phpbuilder for a while when they took the email function out. I just cannot reply to posts if I can't keep track of them through email.

Meanwhile as you can see from my sig, I've started my own PHP support site. Its still very much being built as I have even less time for that than I do for my private life 🙂 I had to switch servers rather unexpectedly so what you see there now is actually is sort-of-working development copy.

Well, gotta run because the clock is pointing it's nasty little hands at some numbers that tell me I've been up for way too long.

Well I was better known as "Ziggs" I think that was the name I used. Ya I knew it was you from your sig. Man.... glad to see you still going strong. I was actually really worried. That site of yours looks quite good, but it seems to F-up in mozilla, The news is mis-placed and the entire page seems to wrap-around at the bottom, repeating the top section at the bottom.

Don't you just love the way all browsers interpret HTML exactle the same way? 🙂

🙁 I Know Vince. I am working that out for Mozilla. Why it does that I have no idea. I had one of my C++ programmers (who only uses Mozilla) look at it and he got the same thing. I thought he was crazy. Coming from you too I know he is not. Hey vince how about you just start E-Mailing me. [e-mail] that would be the easiest thing. I wish they all interpreted (good spelling i know 😉 ) webpages the same. I have to see why it is doing this and hopefully get a fix for it. I have an idea of what is going on and a way to fix it.
