Is my PHP server wrongly installed?

Hi,

I had installed PHP server into a NT machine. I tred running my site built on PHP scripts on IIS. The entire machine hung after a mintue or two. I opened Task Manager and I saw there were many PHP.exe processes running. Is that normal? Should I or shoud I not see any PHP.exe process?

Have I not done a proper installation? Or I have missed out in any configuration?

Please help.
