url + link question

Hi, I'm a newbie here and I have question.

How do I make my links so they end in for ex. "link=7" or "page=cer". Instead of using for example contact.htm I want that same contact.htm page but I want to link that page so it looks like of the ones below:

for ex.
www.mysite.com/test.php?link=7
or
www.mysite.com/index.php?page=cer

how do i do that?

maybe something like this:

<?php

if($_GET['page'] == "mail")
{
   include("contact.htm");
}

?>

Then the link would look like this:
http://www.blah.com/index.php?page=mail

Thanks rIkLuNd, it’s almost there. I did what you said and it worked, but I don’t want to include the page contact.php with the page where it is linked from. I just want it to go to contact.php.

Any ideas?

I tried using fopen:

$fp = fopen ("contact.php", "r");

I thought that would help, but I'm probably doing something wrong.

It's really important that the "<?php" thing is at the absolute top of the page, otherwise this will not work.

<?php

if($_GET['page'] == "mail")
{
   header("Location: contact.php");
}

?>
