Is there anyway to create a pause in a program using the system clock (rather than a long loop which may be effected by the speed of someone's computer, and/or operating system)? Thanks!
Do you mean something like [man]sleep[/man] or [man]usleep[/man] ?
No, sleep and usleep seem to just delay excucution and don't seem to work in a loop. I simply want a command to pause whats on the screen for a second or two...
