passing values from .js to .PHP

im trying to pass a value from a .js script to the $_GET of PHP document. my java script goes like this-

it recieving PHP page scripts start like this-

It hard to give an answer without seing more code, you javascript is a bit vague - please show the entire script.

hmmm, it still looks incomplete (no buildmenu() function)..

anyway, if it does what I suspect it does - draw a list of links of the page. then as long as php is configure correctly and you are using mens.php, it should work.

does this work ?

iv made the suggested changes to the code, the problem is that i cant execute this script

the java script does not allow for the TEST. as you will see just above were the "ssmItems[0]" line is a discription of how the script is set up. it does not allow for the TEST attribute if that makes sense.

and the build menu functions is on the last line..

$Superstring you seem pretty damn smart, thanks for your help, but please keep the ideas coming

I suggest you ditch your javascript... it looks pretty much pointless to me.
What do you need the javascript to do ? I will try and come up with a better solution.

seems this was the cod ei needed-

it works perfecrly now. and im recieving with a $_GET. seemed like a endless problemm but works good now. due to the fact it was in a javascript that wa being called from the page i was on, and using th same page, i did not neet the <a href> portion of the tag. hope this help anybody that will need it.
