Microsoft Exchange server sending Email problems.

Ok here is the problem.

I am running Win2k with MS Exchange server with PHP 4.2.3
And this is a really strange problem so if anybody can solve it you are the man! Or Woman!

My php forms will send the form info via email to a local email within our office but will not an outside email account. We have taken off all firewalls and pretty much left our server open for any attack possiable. But the form would still not send the mail. Any ideas?

What is your $sendmail_from set to?

I actually found the problem and it is pretty dumb now that I think about it. The Exchange 2000 server does no allow the relaying of mail even if the mail comes from the box that Exchange is on. Either php nor asp can send mail because of this. Pretty crappy if you ask me. It is like that so that no one can send spam through your SMTP and your server get the blame.
