Help with fileupload

Alright so for this script im trying to do a file upload but the site does not offer ftp connect support.

I was wondering how I would go about uploading a picture to it through php

IE I am makin an admin script for my site so when i want to put a new pic on it I want to upload it and give it a name and junk and if it automatically added to the page, I know how to add the coding and junk to the site it is hte matter of uploading hte picture.

Any sites where I can learn how to do this or anyone with example code woudl be much appreciated

HTTP also supports uploads. Check the PHP manual, there is a whole section dedicated to this subject.

Yeah, i'm with Diego. I'd check php.net for copy() and move_uploaded_file() plus they have an awesome section on handling file uploads

it also helps to have some kind of unix machine. 😛 eg. Mac OSX, linux, unix there great for file uploading.
