select box

i wonder if anyone kniws how to populate a selectbox that includes data from two different tables. first i want to load the groups i have created, the group table consist of gid,gname and is connected to user groups wich includes ugid, uid, gid.

the third table is users which includes name, min and pin.

what i want is to populate a selectbox that list the names of all the users and also the groups. i am using mysql and php.

is there anyone who have been facing the same problem and can give me some help?

Select names and groups from db. Form an array of them. Populate the list from array. What's the problem?

Hmmm, do you want the selection box to contain the user followed by the list of groups they belong to? Doesn't sound too hard...
