seeking pager class/code

Can someone please suggest a good pager class or code base? Something that offers paging, sorting on columns, etc. Paging is done so often that I'm hoping there's something already developed.

I looked on phpclasses.org but found nothing. Perhaps someone has come across something good and wouldn't mind sharing it with the group.
