I'm doing some research for a news script at the moment.
It needs to be accessible in a variety of languages.
I've been looking into various mechanisms of writing multilingual apps, and while I can see how to structure the program output language ala phpMyAdmin, I'm very unsure of how to approach the issue of character sets and storing user input in a variety of languages.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've already subscribed to the php internationalization list.
