PHP SSL Sessions???

Hi. I am trying to implement a secure website using SSL and sessions. I have successfully installed the SSL module in Apache but I have no idea how to continue from this step.
Could anyone recommend any sites on where I can get hold of some information regarding the link between SSL and sessions? I am a beginner in this area.

If im right. Ive never actually used SSL. But its exactly the same but the page is just secured. I dont know of any tutorials for Sessions. But look up sessions on the manual. Its all there. read through the user comments to.
