i haven't started on this part of our site and are debating to try it i've heard from alot of ppl that i will spend more time and loose more money doing it myself thus paying someone to develop it for me... any thoughts????
basically what is needed is a
user sign-up form
name
email
password
confirm password
interrest
DOB
once they click submit an email is then sent to them to confirm the email by clicking a link with the email their username and password are then allowed access
i think that part should be easy??
next is a basic admin area with these keys
admin index
top 50 (users who are most active by link visits)
users
top links (most clicked)
general site stats (screen size,color depth,browser type,uniques,returns,time of visit)
top 50 page page tabled from left to right as follows for each of the top 50
username
number of links visited
sign-update
email
admin user page tabled from left to right as follows for each user
username in A-Z order
times visited our site
number of links visited
sign-up date
email
interrest
edit(so we can edit the users fields)
delete(so we can delete a user)
footsetps (username tracking)
times user has returned this will never be reset!
link tracking (what they have clicked on)this will never be reset!
top links page
show top 50 clicked links within our site
how many clicks each of the above top 50 links was visited
general stats page
screen size
color depth
browser type
uniques
returns
time of visit
