Label Printing Problems, COM Object?

Hi all:

I need to print customer addresses on labels.
The info is in a mySQL, addin/retrieving is not a problem.

We have purchased a Zebra LP2844 label printer. It prints fine if the info is typed manually.

The problem arises when I want to print off the web.
First according to Zebra support, it only supports EPL programming language, which I don't have a clue about.

They were suggesting using MS Word, but gave no instructions ! :mad:

Do you have any ideas? Have you had this problem?

I think I might need to use COM, which I'm not familiar with.

Any ideas, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If you are going to user PHP to call COM, here is the section on the PHP manual to help: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.com.php There are a ton of articles out there on automating Word. Most examples will be in Visual Basic, but the COM calls will be similar in PHP. DO a search on Google for Word Automation
