I'm currently working on an asset management system (PHP/MYSQL).
My system able to produce label to be stick on the asset.
The problem is that currently my system only allows user
to print onto a self-adhersive A4 paper (need to be cut into small pieces before stick on a aset) which then always end up with waste of paper as not alll the time all the A4 space be utilised.
So I've try to print using a thermal printer (Printronix t12204 -old model) but it's very hard to print as I can't control the printer to feed the label one at a time eventhough I've set the paper size and margin in the printer property.
So can anybody help to overcome the problem......I need advise on the proper way to print label/sticker using PHP if possible...
I've seen a POS System (Point Of Sale) at a supermarket using web-based technology (not sure whether ASP/Perl/PHP/JSP etc) that enable to printout receipt via the system
