Greetings, folks...

I'm looking to make a personal website in which I can store snippets and samples of various code... PHP, VBScript, ASP, etc. I'm wondering if you folks know of any pre-existing code snippets/packages out there that can parse and store this correctly -- either in a database or in a plain text-file.

Either an existing package or configurable segment of code?

Database Mysql preferably but any Database that is supported by PHP will do.

Sorry -- what I actually meant was... is there existing code out there that will parse the code -- i.e. handle the apostrophies, quotes, slashes, etc, then display that stored code without actually having it executed. 🙂

I know it's been done quite often, and I don't feel like re-inventing the wheel...

But why not try yourself. Theres no harm in learning how to do it. Who knows you may need to use it again.

I know how -- it's just a matter of me not having time to sit down, plan it out, code it, debug, and implement it -- I just need something quickly in the particular situation I'm in. 🙂
