Hi everyone,
I recently finished up an undergraduate degree in computer science, and, well, the options available for inexperienced guys like me are few and far between. The old, sorry tale about having plenty of academic experience but little industrial - and even that being short-term contract work.
To be perfectly blunt it's frustrating. I know I want to work in the DB side of things so I guess the question that I'm getting to is, does anyone know of a university/college that does a lot of work, or has a good reputation for DB research?
I figure it's better to be doing some further studies than packing shelves at the local supermarket (o;
