PROS! getting an average?

hello pros,

I have a table that cotains review for products...

basically, everything is rated by stars & half stars, so the numbers to rate te product are like so:

0.5
1
1.5
2
2.5
3
3.5
4
4.5
5

Now, there are multiple reviews for the same product, what I'd like to do is look at the multiple reviews rating for the product, then create an average number of stars...

How do I do this?

Any coding examples are appreciated!

I assume you're using a database server for this? If you are, then use SQL's average function:

SELECT AVG(product_rate) FROM table;
