Hi all, I have a client who wants a few PHP pages put onto his website that allow his customers to upload files of up to 30M to his soon to be webserver. As this is new territory for me, I have been looking at how to do this and problems that can occur. Tho I've got one question I need help with please!
His site is on a virtual hosting service that has PHP 4.2.2. Given the max_file_upload etc settings in php.ini by default only allow uploads of up to 2M, would it be the settings on the hosts server that would need to be changed here, or the settings on the webserver that the files are be sent (uploaded) to?
Two other ways I thought about doing this is to get his webserver configured to run his site from it, or by getting him to consider a dedicated server allowing him to configure it to his needs. Any thoughts on these??
Many thanks in advance as any help would be appreciated!!!
