Another methodology than FuseBox 3?

I was trying to implement a methodology when building webapps.

A friend of mine recommended me to use FuseBox. I read the begginers doc you can download from their page fusebox.org but Is not clear.

I find annoying the use of their classes to be able to apply the methodology.

Has anybody got another way to build webapps, object oriented and structured?
Like using FuseBox but without the classes?

I just write the code with an editor...

I meant a way to organise the scripts. Not and IDE.

To make your code structured and object oriented, you simply type it that way. No need to throw some program in there to do it for you.

I know that you just simple code in that way but maybe there are known solutions like patterns that solve the problem much better.

I read that FuseBox acomplishes.
