i downloaded php v.2.3 something like that and how do i put them on the tripod account

Why don't you find out first if your Tripod account will support PHP... this is a question more appropriate for them, not here.
Are you talking about Tripod.com ? If yes, you just can't install PHP ! You must be the server administrator to do that... I suppose you are not, so you can't. For the [IMG], if you read at the bottom of the page, you will see « [IMG] code is OFF »
well where do i turn the [img ] [ /img] on and any hosting sites u can think of that are free that will let me
