I setup PHP4 with Apache2 and MySQL3 and it seemed to work great as far as the server side goes. So I installed PHPBB2 to give my server a test. After creating a PHPBB2 database and user, I got it all setup and working... or so I thought. After doing a test post, on either this machine, or another on the network, using either IE or the latest stable build of Mozilla 1.2.1 it won't show the post on the page that lists the posts. When I goto the main page, it shows up as a new post has been added, but when I go to the page to get the listing, I get a listing of say three subjects, and the main page said there was four. Kind of confusing if you aren't seeing it... maybe someone can try and register on my system and give themselves a test post...
Type this url: http://80.148.22.72/phpbb2/
register as a user and try to post to the bottom forum, see if after you post if it shows up in the listing...
If it works, then is there a way to fix this? It seems kind of strange to be doing this because I would like to know exactly how my projects are going to react as I create them whether I am on the server, another machine on the network, or a machine on the opposite side of the world...
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
