we'll pretend in this case and say "doggy" is a bad word.

$message = preg_replace("'doggy'", "****", $message);

ok, a user types doggy for a message, instead of showing doggy, it will show ****

but now, if a user types DOGGY in uppercase it will show DOGGY.

How can i have it to where any case doesn't matter, if it has doggy, **** will be displayed

ex:

User enters ----- Result
doggy ... *
DOgGy ...
DOGGY ...
dOGgY ... *

ok i think you get the point.
