Grabbing content from a text file

Hi all, Im a total newbie to PHP, which is also the first language Im learning (along with XML) as I come from a design background 🙂

I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction; I want to pull information from a text file, and display it in the browser. What tags would I use to do that?

The following link shows you a lot of functions that can be used to read/write files, searching this forum could help you too.

First try by yourself. If there are problems with functions/code, ask again.
Whishing you luck. Pulling information out of text files is not the simplest thing you can do with php...
